The duo "Patholics" was founded in 2009 by Ambient and Chillout music producer Daniel Voss (--> Label "Lemongrassmusic" ; --> Weathertunes ; --> Five Seasons) and singer Guido Dongowski. Their debut album was recorded and produced during a 3-years period and is an elegiac, melancholic and dreamy album filled with authentic and unadorned songs about love and hate, darkness and light, wisdom and foolishness, and the eternal longing for tenderness and the magic of the other gender.
The lyrics – all written by Guido Dongowski - allow a glimpse into a many-folded mind which has found a perfect fellow player with Daniel Voss’ deep and eclectic way of music programming. The mostly reduced and straight song writing and the pathetic arrangements sometimes start to goad each other and peak in moments of pure melodic pleasure just to take you back to the ground and lead you to the next song – the next level of an endless game with no winners and no losers.
